The
Clarence Derwent Awards 2000 Roger
also received the Clarence Derwent
Award for Best Supporting Actor at
Equity's annual conference in June
2000. His award was for his role as
Ulysses in Troilus and Cressida
at The National Theatre.
In this picture he is with Kika Markham
who received the Award for Best Supporting
Actress.
Clarence Derwent was a British actor
from 1884-1959 who went to the US
in 1915 and appeared in Major Barbara
in New York. He continued to play
important supporting roles for the
next 31 years. He established the
awards in 1945 in New York and London
for best supporting performances. |
